In 2006 I began working on a body of work intended to remind us all of the importance and beauty of nature. I started writing short poems about nature and picked one per month to use in a block print, with a goal of creating a set of 12 that would work together. The work was finished in 2007, and exhibited in a number of galleries. Happily, it was very well received, and a percentage of the proceeds from the resulting sales was donated to non-profits doing excellent work on behalf of the environment.
